About
I am a Greek composer but I have lived in Sweden from the age of five-eighteen. During the time I was 15-19 I studied at Musikkonservatoriet Falun - which made me realize I wanted to be a composer. Later I moved to Denmark to study composition in Copenhagen and since then I stayed and Copenhagen has since then been my base. I finished my bachelors degree (2019-2022) and my masters degree (2022-2024) at the Royal Danish Academy of Music. Currently I am still a student at RDAM on the post-graduate soloist degree with an artistic research project and debuting from the conservatory in 2026.
I dare say that I was never that curious and deeply affected by music as in the present day. It happened in my most recent summer and since then I realized how much there is to find in it.
I write poetry and also work with either my own or words written by others in my work.
Currently I work on a few works for smaller settings, but also do continuous work with my collective Consonance where I work and explore the connections and working methods of words, design, movement and composition together with Agnes Saaby Thomsen (designer), Freja Rasch Eskildsen (violinist) and Léa Sol (cellist).
Except for my work as a composer and researcher I am also the current chair of the union UNM DK (Ung Nordisk Musik Denmark) where the board works towards the festival that will be held in Denmark Copenhagen in 2026.
In 2024 I had the great joy of being one of the Léonie Sonning Talent Prize Recipients. To the left there is an artist video made as part of the prize. Some of my central thoughts around music and working with production are touched upon in the video.
