Athanasia Kotronia is a Greek/ Swedish composer, producer and curator. Her works range from two large scale orchestral works (one premiering in 2025) to a chamber music-drama, chamber music, duos, and works including electronics/ video and performative elements.
I am a Greek composer but I have lived in Sweden from the age of five-eighteen. During the time I was 15-19 I studied at Musikkonservatoriet Falun - which made me realize I wanted to be a composer. Later I moved to Denmark to study composition in Copenhagen and since then I stayed and Copenhagen has since then been my base.
